Mastopexy

Allows correction of excessive breast descent by allowing a sagging and emptied breast to be retuned by improving its shape and volume and correcting imperfections caused by pregnancy, breastfeeding, excessive weight loss and physiological aging. Breast reshaping with mastopexy aims to maximally regain a full, firm, and voluminous appearance. In some cases, removal of excess skin and lifting of sagging breasts are combined with insertion of the latest generation of breast implants for increased volume (additive mastopexy).

Breast augmentation

In some cases, breast augmentation alone is not the right choice to achieve the best result. In fact, when the lack of breast volume is associated with a ptosis (sagging) of the breast parenchyma, the prosthesis alone is not sufficient to correct this sagging, but rather may itself cause further worsening of the situation. In these cases, Mastopexy (breast lift) combined with implant placement is the ideal combination to achieve the best result. There are various mastopexy techniques depending on the severity of breast ptosis. in less severe cases, it is sufficient to remove a skin ring around the areola to return the breast to its proper position; in this way, the scar will be easily camouflaged at the transition area between the areola and the skin. In more severe ptoses, additional portions of skin need to be removed, and usually the periareolar scar is associated with a vertical scar reaching up to the inframammary groove and a horizontal scar (inverted “T” scar) at the level of the inframammary groove.

Reduction mammaplasty

This is the surgery that provides breast reduction in cases of gigantomastia or hypertrophy of the mammary gland. It is practiced not only for cosmetic reasons but also for functional reasons (reduction of major symptoms such as pain in the shoulders, neck, and upper portion of the spine). Reduction of even four to five sizes can be achieved. Reduction mammaplasty allows toning of the excessively downward descending breast pyramid and a simultaneous filling of the upper breast quadrants.

Gynecomastia

The procedure is indicated to correct a typical male blemish that can present with an abundant accumulation of fat in the chest ( false gynecomastia) or an abundant accumulation of glandular tissue (true gynecomastia). In some cases the components may occur simultaneously (mixed gynecomastia). The surgery is in high demand among men in their 20s and 40s who feel the discomfort of an unmanly chest because it is feminizing.
